Turtle Trial Update 3.2 - Balance Fix


Another minor update for re-balance, fixes and changes to the game. There is no new content or features added in this update but should fix some of the issues that have come up after the last fix update.

Changed.

  • The description of lore objective has been changed to be more specific and avoid confusion.
  • Food-ball crafting objective would show the wrong total requirement in description.
  • Orca whale echoes is now loader and can be heard further away
  • Orca detection range / hunting range has been increased by 20%.
  • Deep ocean enemies re-positioned.
  • Ending direction message changed to be more instructive.
  • Air vents in the ending sequence area have been removed.
  • Game no longer paused when crafting Ui screen is open.
  • When crafting screen is opened the game will no longer pause.
  • Boss fight has been re-balanced to be harder for later stages of the fight.
  • Hammerhead sharks have been replaced with a different enemy for the boss fight.
  • Spawning of predators during the wave stage of the boss fight have been adjusted to be more dangerous.
  • Rocks have been removed from the boss fight area so that the player can no longer hide and be fully protected from specific attacks.
  • All hunger food-ball effect has increased length of effect by 10% - 20%.
  • Remote protection upgrade regenerates the shield slower by 200%.
  • Remote protection upgrade regenerates require predators to be further away from the player.
  • Shield regeneration speed has been re-balanced with different upgrades.
  • Break food-ball effect is half powerful resulting in much less durability in the turtle shell.
  • Ending sequence route now has a different music.
  • Cut-scene has been improved and allows for a more natural end.

Fixed.

  • Orca Whale in the deep ocean get stuck in rocks.
  • Save should be locked in ending area sequence.
  • Opening the crafting screen or exchange screen when other UI is open break button navigation.
  • Multiple UI screen being open at the same time, now only one can be open.
  • Pause menu will no longer lock the player out of UI interaction.
  • Random damage from enemies that are not in range or alive anymore.
  • Random island was spawning crabs in the sea and not on land.
  • Mini map is still visible in ending sequence area.
  • Damage ball not activating damage buff effect correctly.
  • Game time and date was not paused when pause menu is active.
  • Remote protection not working correctly after recovery has begun on an island.
  • When skipping the night through sleep the eyes of the darkness would still be visible.
